In Home Services
This program provides services to protect children in families where abuse and/or neglect has been found. Social Workers engage family members in activities designed to reduce risk, promote stability and bring about permanence for children.

Foster Care Services
Foster care is a temporary living arrangement for abused, neglected, and/or dependent children who need a safe place to live when their family cannot take care of them.  Children are placed in the responsibility of the department through court-ordered custody, voluntary placement agreements, or release for adoption.

Adoption services are designed to find permanent homes for foster children and to provide support to the families who adopt them.  An adoption provides children with legal permanence in safe, loving homes.

LINKS Services
LINKS services help young adults in foster care ages 16 - 21 and those who have recently left foster care to develop strong connections with caring adults. LINKS also helps these young adults to obtain education and vocational training, arrange safe and stable housing, and achieve personal self sufficiency.
